So, I finally took my mama's sewing machine. I named her Gertrude. She's a fickle machine... doesnt like to stay threaded... but thats ok... I'm happy to be able to sew at home. After a few lessons from Emily, I now know how to put the pesky bobbin back in place.Started a little late in the season, but nevertheless I started my Christmas present making. Six potholders--- more to come! Yes, I am still in 'potholder stage'. Emily of course is making all sorts of super cool gifts and nifty quilts... well people... this season, its potholders from me... maybe next year we will move onto quilts... maybe! :)
